How far in advance should I book?
Most clients book 2–6 months ahead, especially for weekends and wedding season. If your date is closer, reach out anyway — if I'm open, I'm yours.
What kind of events do you play?
Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate parties, holiday parties, and private celebrations. If people are gathering and you want it to feel good, I can DJ it.
How long do you play?
The base package covers 4–5 hours of live mixing. If you need more time, we can add hours to your custom quote.
Do you take song requests?
Yes. We build a playlist together beforehand covering must-plays and do-not-plays, and I read the room live for requests on the night.
What sound equipment do you bring?
A professional PA system sized to your venue, a wireless microphone for toasts and announcements, and backup cables, mixer, and laptop so a single failure never stops the music.
Do you offer lighting?
Yes — as an add-on. 10 uplights are $300, 20 uplights are $600, and a full lights-with-movers rig is $1,400.
How does travel work?
Travel out of Long Beach is a flat $150. For out-of-state events, the client covers uber, flight, equipment shipping, and hotel expenses.
What if something goes wrong with your gear?
I bring backup cables, a spare mixer, and a spare laptop to every event. If something fails, the music keeps going.
What happens if you have an emergency and can't make it?
I have a trusted network of DJs I can call on if something serious ever happens. You'll never be left without music on your date.
When do you arrive and set up?
I arrive early enough to fully set up, sound check, and be ready before your first guest walks in. We confirm the exact timeline together before the event.
How do we lock in a date?
After our first conversation I send a clear quote. A signed agreement and deposit hold your date.
Do you MC too?
Yes — announcements, introductions, and light emceeing are included. If you want a heavier hosting presence, tell me during our call and we'll plan for it.
